Citadel

A citadel is one of eleven fortified guilds found in Luxtia. Of these, four belong to Jupiter and seven belong to Saturn. Each citadel stands within or near the eponymous town or city which they head.

Citadels hold major political importance. Each one holds a governing body headed by an archmaster.

Each citadel is responsible for progress in specific fields of science, engineering, and culture.

Saturn

Saturn's citadels are smaller but more numerous than those of Jupiter. Those citadels and their specialties are listed below, from north to south:

• In Procella:
  • Dione: philosophy and psychology
  • Enceladus: arts and culture
• In Pluvia:
  • Mimas: math, logic, and computing
  • Iapetus: statistics and probability
  • Tethys: engineering and industry
• In Serra:
  • Rhea: physical natural sciences
  • Titan: biological natural sciences

Titan is no longer in service. As a result, Rhea focuses on biological natural sciences as well.

Jupiter

Jupiter's citadel cities are considerably larger than most of Saturn's, though there are ultimately fewer of them. Those citadels and their specialties are listed below, from north to south:

  • Ganymede: manufacturing industries
  • Europa: agricultural industries
  • Io: extraction industries
