Race & Ethnicity
The race of a fae refers to the grouping of fae based on physical aspects, sometimes related to ethnicity but mostly distinct from species. These often include stereotypes around such races and play a major role in the culture around them.
The ethnicity of a fae describes their cultural descendance and heritage. While race is based on physical features, ethnicity is based on a deeper sense of shared culture, often from one's ancestry.
Race and ethnicity often overlap. However, race, ethnicity, and species are distinct, separate phenomena.
