Skyquake

A skyquake is an abrupt change in the Pachysphere which usually manifests as a crack or split across the sky. The properties at either side often contrast in heat, color, and luminosity.

Random fluctuations within the Pachysphere can cause skyquakes. These fluctuations, especially during larger skyquakes, can cause small fractures within the Cirrolite Core, slightly weakening it.

Skyquakes gradually "heal" over a few minutes, with the visible "fissure" blending together and fading.
